What data we process and why

• Booking management (name, email, phone, country, dates, guests, comments): to manage your booking and contact you. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Guest registration (ID document and other data required by Royal Decree 933/2021): we must report them to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior (SES.HOSPEDAJES). Legal basis: legal obligation. Kept for 3 years as required by law.
• Payments: processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Enquiries by email: to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest / your request.

Recipients

Processors acting on our behalf: Rentlio (property-management system), Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (payments; may transfer data to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), Raiola Networks (hosting, Spain). Authorities when legally required.

Retention

Booking data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and the applicable statutory limitation periods (tax: 4–6 years). Guest registration: 3 years.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to apartusal@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
